| 1436 (37) | Adrift for thirty-seven years. Zhrakhad discovered, settled. Ashrama discovered |
| 1443 (7) | Ashrama subjugation begins. Planetary dominance is achieved in less than seven years. Ashraani are immediately integrated into Zhrakhadi society. |
| 1749 (306) | Over the course of three centuries, Zhrakahd is quickly turned into one large city, a design the Zhrakhadi brought with them from their homeworlds. The Zhrakhadi regain space travel as a common activity. |
| 1773 (24) | Zhrtim'rad discovered. Minimal repairs necessary. These take quite some time as the necessary material resources are extremely scarce. They are eventually synthesized, and the gate repaired. Using this knowledge, Zhrtim'jan is disabled as best they can from the Zhrakhad side. Zhrtim'rad gated, Kaissa Zone discovered. |
| 1789 (16) | First Battle of Kaissa. Fully one half of the new Zhrakhadi miltary is lost due to unforseen ground-based defenses. The Zhrakhadi discover that the Kaissans use biological entities as their "technology", making them fierce opponents...and thus, the Emperor decreed that the planet be acquired at all costs. |
| 1827 (38) | Second Battle of Kaissa. The telepathic cries for help from the Kaissans draw two elder Roha from deep space. They arrive just after the battle begins. After several demonstrations of the beings' power, the Zhrakhadi retreat. |
| 1850 (23) | Rohana conquered. The telepathic Roha are found to be susceptible to various methods of psionic overload. |
| 1868 (18) | Third Battle of Kaissa. Utilizing newfound knowledge of the Roha's weaknesses, the Roha retreat, and Kaissa is conquered. |
| 1903 (35) | Aurtim'ral reactivated; Setar Zone discovered. |
| 1919 (16) | Strange crystals discovered on Setar, analysis begins by taking a sample back to Zhrakhad. Aurtim'ral is destabilized in the process, and the vessel carrying the sample is obliterated. It is found that a critical component of the gate was overloaded, and will have to be rebuilt. This takes a bit of time. Theories on the cause of the overload abound, but are not confirmed until later. Collateral damage to other gate systems is significant. |
| 1987 (68) | Aurtim'ral re-stabilized. Luckily, no irreplacable components were damaged. The Zhrakhadi on the Setar side have made a comfortable living on both Sagirha and Setar. With new sensor technologies, returning ZO ships get very strong, and very wrong, sensor echoes from certain portions of the planet. These are discovered to be caused by the same crystal which caused Aurtim'ral to be nearly destroyed. |
| 1989 (2) | Crystals, dubbed ilydri, are found to have enormous energy potential. Colonization of Setar, subjugation of Setari begins. |
| 2008 (19) | Setar conquered. The numerous but peaceful Setari put up very little resistance. Ilydri mining operations are widespread. The Emperor himself lays claim to Setar. There are no disputes. |
| 2021 (13) | Emperor moves capital to Setar. Settlement of Sagirha begins. |
| 2041 (20) | Resource-rich planet of Sagirha colonized. Many creatures, none sentient, are quite deadly in their combat effectiveness. This makes the planet very difficult to settle. Even currently, there are some areas of the planet where it is unwise to travel. |
| 2062 (21) | The tundra moon of Setar, Sahar, is colonized. Imperial military operations moved to Sahar. |
| 2077 (15) | Construction of the artificial island of Kiirei begins on Rohana, as the nearest parcel of land is seven miles below the surface. |
| 2126 (49) | Ministry of Science built on Kiirei. The Roha bioengineering project is begun. The Crystals are found to be psionically resonant, partially why the Zhrakhadi were able to bring out ilydri's energy so easily. The Roha are adapted to utilize ilydri, which only enhances their energy manipulation abilities. The weaknesses exploted at the Third Battle of Kaissa are eliminated. Previously, only elder Roha were able to finalize the metamorphosis that allowed them to survive in space. Now, utilizing Zhrakhadi ingenuity and Kaissan biotechnology, the change can be wrought on any willing Roha. For the most part, the Roha are indeed willing, as their curiosity and love of exploration is unprecidented in Zhrakhadi history. Enhancement of an elder Roha results in a sea-based lifeform over five kilometers in diameter, providing an excellent basing facility for space-capable Roha. |
| 2153 (27) | Cirtim'maeb repaired as much as the Zhrakhadi can manage, and yet it still refuses to function. This is surprising because the gates have thus far demonstrated an extraordinary ability to regenerate themselves. As this process can take hundreds of years, the ZO frequently replace or repair parts they themselves have synthesized. It is surmised that the other end is inoperable. Strange energy fluctuations in Zhrtim'jan begin when Cirtim'maeb is repaired. |
| 2210 (57) | New, stronger fluctuations in Zhrtim'jan are believed to be an attempt to gate through Dajantim'riel, and it is thought that the attempted repair of the malfunctioning Cirtim'maeb, or the disruption of Aurtim'ral, may have alerted the Sovereign that the Orders are once again a threat. This event is labeled the "Sending". Mass panic ensues, as the paranoia that has been bred by the Emperor through the years spills over. Minor rioting is suppressed almost as soon as it starts. A military modernization program is begun, updating much of the Orders' military hardware. A surge in patriotism doubles the size of the military, allowing many new opportunities for a generation of Zhrakhadi. Several long-term exploration missions are sent out from each Zone. Two missions in particular seeks to map the space between the three Zones. |
| 2278 (68) | A large revolt on Kaissa is put down quickly and, surprisingly, without much bloodshed. Once the Zhrakhadi revealed the self-serving motivations of the revolt's leader, it fell apart within hours. How a Kaissan could hide such information from the Zhrakhadi, let alone other Kaissans, is a mystery. Heavy research into psionic technologies is begun. |
| 2309 (31) | A number of breakthroughs in biotechnology are achieved, especially in integrating ilydri crystals with biological entities. Creating an enhanced breed of Roha, they are sent on exploratory missions for the most part, though some stay within the Orders' to act as escort vessels for high Zhrakhadi and system guards. The same research yields a very potent lifeform, one which can enter into a parasitic relationship with a Zhrakhadi and discharge enormous amounts of psychokinetic energy. These beings will take over the host unless the host is a sufficiently capable telepath. These "Z"'s are highly prized as weapons. |
| 2312 (3) | A new breed of ZO warship is developed, dubbed the "Kadar", heightening the efficiency of ilydri power to nearly 100%. Unfortunately, a misconfiguration in the Kadar's drive systems causes yet another ilydri-based disruption of a stargate. This time, Zhrtim'rad. Rulers of Zhrakhad and Ashrama fear that this is a precursor to invasion by the Sovereign's forces and prepare themselves appropriately. |
| 2321 (9) | Zhrtim'rad re-stabilized. No components were destroyed, however the dimensional fold through which the stargates operate was greatly disturbed. Testing on the other stargates, and further tuning of the Kadar's drives, show that the crystal is even more powerful than the Orders had previously thought. Reversing the process is fairly simple, perhaps even usable for a last-ditch defensive effort. It is unknown if this procedure causes permanent damage. Re-established contact with the Zhrakhad zone. Further improvements to the non-Roha warships that emerged from Zhrtim'rad prevented any friendly fire, effectively disabling the "defending" ships before they could fire. |
| 2376 (55) | Some time after the second disruption, energy signatures ten times as powerful as those of the first Sending are detected through Zhrtim'jan. Zhrtim'rad and Aurtim'riel have faint, resonating "echoes" that match the much stronger eminations of Zhrtim'jan. It is feared that the Sovereign may have developed a way to access all stargates with only a single gate. Gatelocks are put in place on all stargates, increasing the number of trained personnel required to maintain them. |
| 2398 (22) | Twenty-two years after the Second Sending, the military is on a heightened state of alert, but is not expecting an immediate attack. Scientists have said that if there is to be an assault from Dajantim'riel, then their locking mechanisms will give the Orders at the most fifteen days to mobilize. Many contingency plans and defense strategies are designed to be implemented inside of ten days. Social unrest is almost nil, with Zhrakhadi, Ashraani, Setari, Kaissans and Roha living in relative harmony. It is at this point that the Federation discovers a battered Lamtim'ral inside of a nebula near the Lily Yo system, possibly leading to a tense confrontation with the bunker mentality, very paranoid, Zhrakhad Orders. |
