| Military | The military is an important aspect of most orgs. They repel invaders, keep the peace and explore, among other things. Must be willing to follow orders and not always do what you want to do. | Varies, depending on org.

| Diplomats | A diplomat is a person who can tell you to go to hell in such a way that you actually look forward to the trip. - Anonymous If you've got a gilded tongue, this may be the career for you. You'll get to hurl polite insults (on occassion) at other diplomats and attempt to stop wars before they really start. | Varies, depending on org.

| Traders | Traders spend the vast majority of their time alone on their ships. They get to decide when they go somewhere and how long they'll stay. Good for people that want to be their own boss and can create their own RP | Varies, depending on org.

| Merchants | Slightly different from traders, in that you'll probably deal with actual coded objects. Buy things from people, sell them to other people for a profit. You'll likely want to be a trader as well, to build up your capital, and may want to get started working for someone else. Definite RP opportunities here. | Darvok or Kovaq, if you want to work for someone else

| Black market dealers | These people work in the shadows. They deal in things that are stolen, contraband or otherwise not exactly legal. Characters like this may have a short lifespan, if they're not careful. | You'll have to figure this out for yourself. @mag 64 can be a good place to start.
