A Humanoid standing seven feet tall weighing three-hundred and twenty pounds. Upon his head are numerous bony ridges set close together. His skin is dark black in color. He has long black hair that he allows to move freely as he moves. He sports a mustache that is thin over his upper lip, at the sides of his mouth is grows out to about four inches in length. He also has a long thick beard about five inches in length. Both the mustache and beard are kept neat and trim. He has brown eyes that never seem to stay still.
His body is covered in the standard uniform of the tlhIngan Hubbeq: a black uniform top and pants with silver trim; his feet are covered with large black, shiny boots with pointed tips. On tolIn's hands are the a pair of black fingerless gloves, designed to allow good grip on weapons, while still allowing the agility needed to operate controls. His armor is thick and silver, with shiny black enamel painted on the metal framing.
tolIn of the House of banghteH was born to his father Qatoq and his mother balor. He is the third son of Qatoq, his siblings are his brothers achghuQ, banghteH, and bIQHurgh, his sisters De'chaq, Doq, and majIq.
tolIn's training began the day he could hold a sword. From the best betleH expert of the House banghteH he learned the skills needed to wield the mighty batleH. While he has not mastered the batleH, someday he may. His training in tactics and stratagy started from his House members. While growing up often times he would participate in annual House events where a warrior's skills were put to the test. When he reached his Age of Ascension he was put into the Klingon Defense Primary training facility where he would be taught not only the skills of a warrior but those other skills that a Klingon uses from time to time. One of the unique things about tolIn that his teachers often commented on was his lack of speech. He is not mute by any means, nor damaged in any other way, he is just quite. After his graduated from the Primary facility, he moved on to the Secondary facility.
It was shortly after entering the Secondary facility that his House was called apon in Klingon Civil War to fight on the side of the loyalists. His father and elder brothers were aboard the ttD 'etlh Hurgh, his father commanded the ship his brothers part of his senior staff, as was almost all of the ship, being a ship of the House, loyal to the Qang. During several battles, much of which were won, however most of the ship was lost after a short battle above Gamma Eridon. News reached tolIn while at school. His brothers bIQhurgh and achghuQ were dead, his brother bangteH and his father were being shipped back home, suffering severe but non-fatal injuries.
For two months afterward his father never was whole again, his body was broken. One day tolIn recieved a summons from his father to return home. Several days later he was home and met with his father. Indeed his father was a broken man, it was with honor that he proceeded to help his father preform Hegh'bat, using the House cerimonal blade. Afterward, at home his whole family preformed the Klingon Death Ritual, the resulting sound was heard from miles away.
After his father's death, his brother bangteH, while no longer battle worthy, but still a warrior ran the House. tolIn quickly returned back to school and completed with honors, in the top ten of the graduating class that year.
Once he graduated he applied and was accepted into the Klingon Defense Force Naval Academy. While there he excelled at tactics in the academy, often times he seemed to have a sixth sense of what the enemy was thinking. It gave him the nick name 'yabvaj' or mind warrior. While he was good at tactics, he wasn't as good at navigation as was hoped he would be, causing him to lose any chance of earning a spot on the 'Heghnawlogh' or Death Squadron. Crushed by the fact that he didn't do well, took off time to complete the Rite of majQa'.
It was here he had a vision that would effect him greatly. He was aboard the bridge of a battlecruiser, commanding it. The cruiser took hit after hit, but because of his skill in tactics he destroyed the Federation battleship. This vision has tainted his world view. Knowing he would fight the Federation, he maintains a distance in any interaction with other species. Of course this is not the only reason. His father remains with him in his heart. Sometimes at night when it is cold and quiet he can almost hear his father's voice speaking to him.
Having graduated from the academy he has been given his orders, report to the IKB HoSghughwI', under the command of SWjwI' HoD.
Having passed his flight certification he was promoted to beq and granted access to the Fleet. Having run several patrol runs successfully. He felt comfortable running a ship in combat. That day came quicker then was expected.
In the on going fight with the Alliance of the GFA, Federation, Klingon, Cardassian, and Bajorian forces against the Orion Pirates and having heard a distress beacon of a Federation ship, he collected a crew consisting of a Federation and Bajorian officers and commanded the IKV SangwI' out of the IKB HoSghurwI'. He thrusted the vessel toward the Rigel system as he approached the the captured ship. His intention was to do a near warp transport. However his inexperience led to his ship being disabled. He tasked the engineer to repair the drive so they could escape the trap laid by the Orions.
With repairs almost made, a tractor beam locked on to the ship and he was alerted to a transporter lock. He immediately moved to activate the self-destruct the ship so it would not fall in enemy hands. His attempt failed as he and his 'crew' were dropped into a slave pit aboard the enemy vessel where shortly after they arrived, the crew of the Manticore followed. Stuck in the cell he attempted to escape but along with the rest of the people in the pit however most were satisifed with staying there till rescued.
Sometime later the entire crew was transported aboard the Manticore and towed outside the range of the bases where it was towed back to the IKS HoSghurwI'. The shame of losing the SangwI' has haunted him since that day. He hopes soon to get the SangwI' back to regain the his honor for himself and to his House.
While he holds himself responsible for the loss of the SangwI', it would appear he has caught the eye of the Emperor and he appears to have other ideas. The Emperor has tasked him with command of the twV jeqqIj with qul'Hegh beq as his second.
In the on-going conflict with the Alliance and the Orion Pirates at Gamora III, he served aboard the twV notqa' as the jonwI'. This battle was in defense of a Orion transport whom was being attacked by another Orion transport. He help defend the transport but it was all a trap. As soon as the notqa' locked tractor beams on the transport it opened fire on the notqa'. Soon the other transport opened fire on the notqa' and then a Orion battleship joined the frey and soon the notqa' was disabled. Fearing that the ship would end as the SangwI' did, he convinced the commander of the vessel to arm the self destruct and manned the ejection pod as the ship was destroyed. Soon they crew was recovered by a Bajoran vessel with a Federation officer in command. It was through the use of the bajorian ship being ordered by the Orions to recover a Federation crew that it was possible for the crew of the notqa' to overwelm the Orion pirate seriously wounding its commander and capturing the vessel.
