Note: The following information is for the assistance of the Valle Forge crew. All this info is not to be taken IC unless you are doing it on ATS.  USS Valley Forge, NCC-43305, is a Federation Excelsior-class cruiser.
USS Valley Forge First In Peace - First In WarShe was launched Stardate 76607.7, August 10th, 2399, from MemoryAlpha:San Francisco Fleet Yards, and later refit at Starbase 73, departing there December 14th, 2404. Valley Forge's motto is "First In War - First In Peace". This is in homage to two United States Navy ships that also bore the name Valley Forge: CV-45, an Essex-class aircraft carrier active from 1944 to 1970, and CG-50, a Ticonderoga-class cruiser active from 1984 to 2004. Both of these ships bore the same motto. The Valley Forge is occasionally referred to as "Happy Valley" by its crew. The origins of this nickname also date to the U.S. Navy era, but no details beyond that have come to light as to why the name stuck.
Deployment HistoryThis information is OOC unless you are a current member of Starfleet. After her refit, the Valley Forge immediately proceeded to Epsilon 611 in the Delta Quadrant, assisting in the campaign against the Hirogen. She returned to her home post of Starbase 001 December 26th, 2404. Valley Forge deployed to T'Pau Station in March of 2405 to support a galaxy-wide effort against Orion pirates operating out of the Gamora system. The battle was a complete disaster, but the Valley Forge escaped with relatively minor damage and casualties. Following the battle, Executive Officer Kei Posbury announced she was pregnant with her second child, and she and husband Richard, the Valley Forge's Chief of Helm, requested a leave of absence to be able to spend time on their family.
