Teck is a Ferengi and a member of the Galactic Ferengal Alliance faction.

Teck was created in August, 2007, and was subsequently retired in September.
Prior to arriving at the Academy on Ferenganor, Teck's past is a mystery. Ferengi Commerce Authority records indicate that, following his Attainment Ceremony, he was apprenticed to a shopkeeper on Zekit. All existing records are damaged, though, and as a result, both the shopkeeper and his nature of business are unknown. Aside from that, there are no records of him on Zekit.
His time at the Academy was successful, but uneventful, and ended with him graduating in the top half of his class. The only item of note was that he was certainly the oldest member of his class, though his exact age is up for wager.
Standing - in fact, slightly hunching - at about 5'5" is a middle-aged Ferengi. Teck, as he is known, bears all the distinguishing characteristics for a member of his race - the orange-hued skin, enlarged skull, wrinkled nose, sharp teeth, and - of course - his large ears or "lobes", complete with greying tufts of hair showing from within. Though only average for a Ferengi, they dominate his appearance, and are accented by a cloth headdress that drapes below them, wrapping around the back of his head.
He is dressed in a traditional Ferengi business suit, form-fitting and consisting of dull brown and green earthtones in various zig-zag patterns throughout, and paces quickly in polished black boots. A latinum clasp connects the sides of his jacket, resting on a brown shirt underneath. Except for a slightly round belly, he appears to be rather fit for his age.
Though I cannot divulge any valuable information, I feel it necessary to record my thoughts, cryptic as they may be. Perhaps some greater usefulness will present itself, but for now, I suppose this serves simply as a means by which I can gather them and slow them down a little.
So what can I say? I remember my terran literature. "This above all- to thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man." When Shakespeare wrote those words, I wonder if he pondered the inverse - that the best liar fools himself first.
I certainly have.
Whether by my own design or the will of the... the Blessed Exchequer, I am certainly playing the fool, and playing it well.
The Grand Nagus himself! What a dangerous game I play. Oh, what a dangerous game. And to what end? The situation changed while I spun my little web. I suppose the best I can do now is simply to keep spinning, and prepare for the time when prey comes my way.
