History

Takor was born in 2371, the firstborn son in a family of four. His parents are Lenek, a researcher at the Ministry of Science and Telora, a Glinn in the Cardassian military. Takor and his siblings are the third living generation of the Xran family, a family with a long tradition of military service in the Cardassian Union. Notable relatives are Takor's uncle Gulida Manoc Xran, retired head of the Cardassian Madrasad.

Xran was born and raised on Cardassia Prime, homeworld of the Cardassian people. He began his education at the age of three, first in Lakarian city before he moved to the Lakat Boarding School at the age of ten. By 2386, Takor began his military education at the Kora II military academy, entering into the officer track.

Takor completed his military education by 2390, and was initially posted at a Cardassian outpost on Velos. His career was relatively uneventful until he was reassigned to the 12th Order in 2401 under Guln Joruk Lekar. The 12th Order's involvement in the Cardassian civil war gave Takor a chance to prove himself in combat, and he rose relatively quickly through the ranks, eventually becoming second in command of the 12th Order under Nemoris Tolmak. Continued military service saw Takor be reassigned to the position of Gul of the 2nd Order, where he received his promotion to Guln.

In May 2402, Xran was promoted to Idrig Jagul, taking over a position vacated by then-Idrig Jagul Rotmai Kimter. With this position came a seat in Central Command.

2401	Served on the side of Central Command in the Cardassian Civil War of 2401.
Sept 2401	Commanded the CSV Dralek during border skirmish with the Klingon Empire.
Dec 2401	Served against Breen forces during Breen attack against the CU near the Cardassian/Bajoran border, and in the followup Cardassian reprisal attack at Portos.
Feb 2402	Served on the CSVx Tret Akleen during engagement with Federation forces at Organia.
Mar 2402	Commanded the CSV Dralek in two major battles with Romulan and allied forces against the Gorn Confederacy.
