Starfleet Awards

These are the medals and awards currently awarded by Starfleet, in the order that they are intended to be worn.
Medal of Honor (MOH)
| The highest medal honor awarded by the United Federation of Planets. Awarded by the President to a member of Starfleet who distinguishes himself or herself conspicuously by gallantry and intrepidity at the risk of his life or her life above and beyond the call of duty while engaged in an action against an enemy of the United Federation of Planets.

Silver Star Award (SSA)
| For distinguished gallantry in a successful operation against an enemy of the UFP.
|
Bronze Star Award (BSA)
| For heroic action against an opposing armed force.
|
Legion of Merit Award (LOMA)
| For exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service.
|
Presidential Commendation Award (PCA)
| Awarded by the President for service in a unit cited with outstanding performance in an act.
|
Purple Heart (PH)
| For imprisonment, wounds, or death as result of an act of any opposing armed force.
|
Distinguished Flying Cross (DFC)
| For heroism or extraordinary achievement in spatial flight.
|
Distinguished Service Award (DSA)
| For distinguished service in connection with military operations against an opposing armed force.
|
Aerospace Achievement Award (AAA)
| Awarded by Aerospace Command for sustained meritorious achievement involving spatial flight.

Golden Leaf of Axanar (GLA)
| For meritorious participation in a significant act of peace and non-aggression.
|
Security Service Comm Award (SSCA)
| Awarded by Starfleet Security for sustained meritorious achievement involving the field of security.
|
Starfleet Science Achievement (SFSA)
| Awarded by Starfleet Science for sustained meritorious achievement involving any field of science.
|
Starfleet Achievement Award (SFAA)
| For a lifetime of meritorious achievement involving any active field of service.
|
Extended Service Award (ESA)
| For continuous active service by a member of Starfleet. Awarded once for every active year of fleet service.
|
Extra Extended Service Award (EESA)
| For continuous active service by a member of Starfleet. Awarded once for every active year of fleet service, in place of a ninth cluster on an Extended Service Award.
|
Crewman of the Year Award (COY)
| A special citation issued to the winner of a popular vote of all members of Starfleet. For continuous, active, meritorious service in Starfleet.
|
Good Conduct Ribbon (GCR)
| For continuous active service by a member of Starfleet, of a creditable above-average nature in the areas of professional performance, military behavior, leadership, military appearance and adaptability.

Interstellar Service Award (ISA)
| For meritorious conduct in the performance of the ideals of Starfleet.
|
Starfleet Expeditionary Medal (SEM)
| Awarded for landing on foreign territory during operations deserving special recognition for which no other campaign medal has been awarded. Awarded for first contact encounters.

Academy Honor Graduate Award (HGA)
| Awarded by Starfleet Academy to a graduating cadet who distinguishes himself or herself from the rest of his or her class.

Combat Ribbon (CR)
| For active participation in a spatial combat engagement.
|
Joint Operations Award (JOA)
| For meritorious achievement or service while assigned to an inter-Government activity.
|
Admiral's Cluster Award (ACA)
| For meritorious service in Starfleet while serving at the rank of Rear Admiral or above. Awarded by the Chief of Staff, Secretary of Starfleet, or the President.

Meritorious Service Award (MSM)
| For outstanding non-combat meritorious achievement or service to the UFP.
|
Fleet Commendation Ribbon (FCR)
| Awarded for service in a fleet cited with outstanding performance in an act.
|
Federation Ribbon of Merit (FRM)
| For meritorious direct participation in a significant military act or operation of a humanitarian nature.
|
Timmis Award (TA)
| Awarded to the commanders of a fleet for superb leadership in the performance of an act.
|
Special Operations Award (SOA)
| Awarded for participation in or enhancement of the Special Operations field of service.
|
GTI Campaign Award (GTI)
| For participation in operations against the Galactic Terran Imperium.
|
Pirate Campaign (PIR)
| For participation in operations involving the first campaign against Pirate forces.
|
ZO Civil War (ZOC)
| For participation in operations during the Zhrakhadi Orders Civil War.
|
Rihannsu Campaign (RIH)
| For participation in operations against the Rihannsu Star Empire during the Rihannsu War.
|
Second Pirate Campaign (PR)
| For participation in operations involving the second campaign against Pirate forces.
|
Orion Syndicate Campaign (OSC)
| For participation in operations against the Orion Syndicate Pirates.
|
Second Dominion War Campaign (DWC)
| For participation in operations against the Dominion during the second Dominion War.
