Silver Fleet

The Silver Fleet was incorporated by a mysterious individual, Ch'andarra. It's purpose was to give the independent worlds a capable militia that would defend against threats like the Borg and the Dominion.

The Ships of the Silver Fleet
The ships of the Silver Fleet included the SS Silver Swan, the SS Silver Shark, and the SS Silver Badger.
The ships were a special class, Medium Cruiser IIIa, which was controversial, because it was a 3/3 ship but required only one crew member to fly.
The Worlds of the Silver Fleet
The worlds invested in the Silver Fleet included Old Hallee, Sherman's Planet, Donatu V, and several others.
History of the Silver Fleet
While the Silver Fleet was created to protect the Independent worlds, it's leader, Ch'andarra would be later revealed to be Aardra, a notorious individual whose intentions could never be fully explained.
The Silver Fleet's major engagement was to free the ravaged world of Nausicaa from the Borg.
The Silver Fleet would eventually close, although the reasons for this are lost to time.
The Silver Fleet Reborn
There would eventually be a push to recreate the Silver Fleet, which would consist of the Pryans, Bajor, and Qvarne.
