Overview

Hfihar s'Radaik is an ancient, powerful and wealthy hfihar. When the first people landed on the twins of the Eisn system, s'Radaik had settled in the coastal community of i'Ramnau. As the new Rihannsu explored the planets around them and hfihar wars broke out, the Hru'hfirh, tired of the bloodshed, moved his family to the newly discovered planet of ch'Nahir. The planet was warm, tropical almost, a veritable paradise. s'Radaik settled the planet, building infastructure, a spaceport, and worked to establish the colonial government. As word of the planet spread, ch'Nahir quickly became a tourist planet, drawing Rihannsu from all corners of the Shiar. From this tourist trade and many diverse ventures, s'Radaik quietly amassed great wealth. As primary settlers s'Radaik became prominent members of the colonial government of ch'Nahir. Gradually members of s'Radaik rose to places of high power as they made their way into Shiar politics.

While s'Radaik had a brief absence from the political scene early in the history of the empire, long past are the days that a member of s'Radaik has not had a prominent position in the many branches of the Shiar. At one time or another s'Radaik members have filled the positions of galae'Fvillha, shiar'Fvillha, Ilnetha'Fvillha, as well as high positions in the Galae, Tal'Shiar and Ilnetha'aihrifv.

In recent times, s'Radaik fell on difficult times. With the ascension of Jalyen tr'Radaik into the position of hru'Hfirh, the hfihar's fortunes deteriorated due to mismanagement and a squandering of funds as a result of his skirt-chasing, which further resulted in an investigation by the Tal'Shiar after an allegation that he had taken Ishadhael t'Khellian after getting her inebriated, bringing about her pregnancy. Not long thereafter, Jalyen tr'Radaik was arrested by the Tal'Shiar for reasons still undisclosed, as a result of which the elderly Uaithstaehh tr'Radaik became hru'Hfirh.

Because Ishadhael t'Khellian was carrying a Radaik child, Uaithstaehh tr'Radaik asked her hand in marriage. She accepted the proposal and the two were bonded; however, his already failing health brought about a heart attack on their first night together, leaving Ishadhael e-Khellian t'Radaik a widow - and inheriting the position of hru'Hfirh; soon after, she miscarried and lost the child.

Since her ascension to hru'Hfirh s'Radaik, Ishadhael t'Radaik has been working diligently to restore hfihar Radaik to its former glory, amongst other things expanding its business empire, Radaik Holdings, LLC. A notable example is the takeover of a failing springwine manufactury in Bajor's Paqu province, establishing it as a guesthouse whilst continuing to produce springwine and adding a brewery, the first producer of Romulan ale outside the Shiar.

In the buildup to what became the recent civil war in the Shiar, Tal'Shiar forces loyal to former Khren Khau'laehval t'Nai destroyed the surface of ch'Nahir, exterminating the vast majority of the planet's population and leaving it uninhabitable. Despite this great loss and severe setback, hfihar Radaik has taken it in stride. Construction was ordered on a new Estate in the city of Theijhoi on ch'Havran, and further business ventures are in the works.
