Robert Bungar

Robert Bungar was a Federation politician and diplomat. He was formerly a Junior Councilor on the Council of the United Federation of Planets and a diplomat to the Pryan Coalition for the Federation Diplomatic Service. He died in a tragic shuttle accident in 2403.

Description
Standing here is a youngish human. He appears to be in or around his thirties, with wrinkle-free skin, a bright smile that almost always radiates. His hair is blondish, with a little bit of brown in it. It's kinda long, and hangs down the sides of his head. His eyes are a bright blue hue, overshadowed by the two large eyebrows covering them. His body seems to be giving way, not that usual fitness you see in teenagers and the young. His stomach bulges stomach, but he doesn't appear to be completely past the physical prime of his life.
He is wearing a softly woven black suit jacket of a casual line and form which accentuates his shoulders flatteringly. The jacket follows his torso in a slimming fashion to end below his hips. At his left breast is a discrete pocket in which a burnt-orange hankerchief is neatly folded. Beneath the jacket he wears a white silk shirt with a casual burnt-orange tie around his neck. His legs are covered in black silken slacks, heavier than his shirt. Pinned to a pocket of his jacket is a name tag, with the words, 'Councilor Bungar.'
Early Life
Robert Bungar was born in Alexandria, Egypt, Earth and was raised by his parents, Sarah and John Bungar, two archaeologists. His brother is Sam Bungar. After a while, his parents settled down in New York City where he attended Franklin and Marshall College, in Pennsylvania, graduating with a double major in history and economics.
Starfleet
Not long after graduating from college, Robert Bungar served in Starfleet for quite a while, serving aboard various ships such as the USS Normandy and the USS Strathcona. He served a wide variety of positions, ranging from Flight Control Specialist to Chief of Navigation to Chief of the Boat. Before resigning to follow in his brothers footsteps in politics, he had achieved the rank of Petty Officer First Class, although he had completed the grade requirement for Chief Petty Officer.
Current
Federation Diplomatic Service
Bungar left Starfleet to serve in the Federation Diplomatic Service under President Sam Bungar, where he recieved appointment as a Consul to the Pryan Coalition. He is currently working on several treaties with them and remains in this position as a part-time job.
Federation Council
In 2402 Bungar entered in the election for Councilor on the Federation Council. He was elected in a tie for third place, and now has the position of Junior Councilor: Beta. When his term expired, he did not seek re-election.
Certifications
Robert Bungar currently has the FC2, MA1, and EMT certifications. He is also working on recieving his legal and Masters degrees.
Death
Robert Bungar was traveling from his office on Pryan to the Bungar family estate in Westchester County, New York, Terra in 2403 when his shuttle exploded moments before entering Federation space. A plasma coolant leak was determined to be the cause of the accident. He and two aides perished in the explosion.
