Headquarters on Phoenix City
In the original start-up of Phoenix Enterprise, Jonathan Salizar was co-owner of the organization which was based on Mars. Jonathan's business partner was a Deltan named Licdarroc. Due to Salizar's commitments, as President of the United Federation of Planets, the day to day operations of the organization fell under the control of his business partner. At the time, while not a top ranked company in the galaxy, the mission of Phoenix Enterprise is to provide quality and expedient delivery of goods.
One of the original rules, which is still encouraged is that all trades are conducted under the banner of the Federation Merchant Operations Guild which ensures that the government benefits from successful business ventures. The business practices of Phoenix Enterprise opened the organization up to public scrutiny primarily from the FTGTC under Chairman Vathras. Some would argue that the attention of a large guild would not have fallen on a small company if Jonathan Salizar as President had not pushed to evict the FTGTC from New Risa in favor of selling the planet to The Unity. None the less the scrutiny of the guild placed those involved with Phoenix Enterprise at risk and the business closed the doors to their offices; but not their operation.
Many of the employees of Phoenix Enterprise operated under the new umbrella organization called the Federation Merchant Operations, or FMO. While working for the FMO many still contributed to the Phoenix Enterprise fund. After the FMO was closed by the Federation government, Jonathan Salizar quickly moved to establish three subsidiary companies under the name of Phoenix. Phoenix Organia Holdings, Phoenix Luna Terra Holdings and Phoenix Earth Holdings were established on the respective planets.
Phoenix Enterprise believes that the strength of the galactic economy is based on the movement of goods across the galaxy. In order to keep markets competitive and to ensure a fair trade environment Phoenix Enterprise has taken on a philanthropic approach to young upstart merchants. Merchants who approach a member of the partnership, pass an oral competency interview as well as a physical practical review will be assisted by the organization. Latinum will be provided to the new merchant to begin trade and a freighter V will be purchased in that individuals name. The individual is not bound to Phoenix Enterprise. The latinum is provided as an interest free loan. Merchants who are assisted are asked to repay the loan when they are able to do so. The partnership of Phoenix remains on the vessel security list as owners of the vessel until the loan is repaid. Many upstart merchants are offered position within Phoenix Enterprise. Should a merchant not utilize their vessel for trade and fall inactive the vessel will be returned to Phoenix City and a loan opened with a merchant that will utilize the resource.
There is no set contribution amount that merchants affiliated with or working for Phoenix Enterprise must make. However Phoenix Enterprise exists to assist each individual that is affiliated and employed. Because of this principal it is asked that some contributions are made back to the organization. Affiliates and employees are the first individuals approached when a large scale project comes along that requires investment. Affiliates and employees know that when they contribute to the fund of the organization that they are assisting others who are just starting out as merchants. They also know that if there is a time of need the organization will be there to support them financially. Like all companies Phoenix Enterprise has a mission to become the largest and most reputable organization in the known galaxy. Our wealth will be used to support our affiliates and our employees and to increase the scope and reach of our business venture. Together we are Phoenix Enterprise.
Phoenix is currently controlled by two individuals who are the business partners. Jonathan Salizar, and J.-J.-A. Dalmont make up the current partnership of Phoenix Enterprise. Dalmont joined Phoenix Enterprise a few years after the organization was established as the Director of Phoenix News Service and as a partner. Past partners in Phoenix Enterprise are Licdarroc and Lucius Harrington. Licdarroc vanished one day and Lucius Harrington stepped out of his role shortly after he assumed the role of Secretary of State for the United Federation of Planets.

Phoenix Enterprise is a business that profits not only from the transportation of goods but from the manufacture, warehousing and distribution of those goods. Utilizing planets that have close synergies Phoenix Enterprise is able to maximize profits for all share holders. Phoenix Enterprise also operates a personal loan service, political think tank, Phoenix News Service, and trade operations.
Around Stardate 82508.333654, Sun Jul 05 06:44:30 2405, Phoenix Enterprise began internal discussion on the development of a space colony. The colony, to be named Phoenix City, will serve as a trade hub and commerce center. The colony will feature an alpine village, urban capital region, pallet based shipyard for construction of star bases and starships, and top of the line entertainment and trade. Investors were brought in for this project. Four investors have placed a share of their personal wealth into the project. Jonathan Salazar, J.-J.-A. Dalmont, Erik and Michel are the investors. Construction of the colony will take place in orbit of Qvarne. Upon completion the facility will be moved to its final location.
Phoenix Enterprise Loans:
Zero Interest Freighter Loan Phoenix Enterprise will purchase your vessel and will maintain an ownership claim of the vessel. This will be your vessel to use as you see fit as long as your vessel is used regularly. When the total amount of the loan is available for repayment Phoenix Enterprise will withdraw the funds from your account and then remove our ownership claim on the vessel. Inactive vessels may be reclaimed by Phoenix Enterprise and returned to Phoenix City if not used. Each loan request is reviewed prior to approval.
Phoenix City Bank Loans The bank on Phoenix City will issue loans at an annual rate of 3 percent per year. Requests for loans should be initiated from the bank and followed by a detailed request for the loan. Your detailed request will be reviewed and a member of Phoenix Enterprise will meet with you for a personal interview. Loans are issued for business or personal use. All requests for loans should be sent to beacon 'swi'.

Phoenix City is a space colony located in the center of a triangle between Sherman's Planet, Donatu and Freehaven. Phoenix City is home to around 10,000,000 inhabitants and contains three regions. All three sectors are located on the dorsal section of the colony under a giant dome 300 km in radius. Phoenix City strives to be a commerce and entertainment hub of the region.

Ruby Room - Exclusive Merchant Access Phoenix City is a large and expansive facility. Average time from the docking facility to the market through the central core is quite long. The Phoenix City Market was built directly above our landing area. This construction allows for a quick turbolift ride from the landing area to our exclusive lounge and a quick step out the door to our market and bank. Members of this exclusive club do not need to check their weapons at the door as they will be allowed to move from their ship to the market armed to the teeth. Merchants in the club are able to enjoy fellowship of other merchant elite in the Ruby Room. Convenience and luxury is just a few million bars of latinum away.
