The Lost Vorta
Phedra started out as a very promising Vorta, quickly climbing the ranks of the Tel Canaar. However, some defect caused her to fall in love with a member of the Tel Cynar named Keldar. Keldar openly rebelled against the Founders, but cautioned Phedra to keep their forbidden love a secret.
Phedra, however, secretly supported Keldar's rebellion. Upon learning of Dominion plans to attack HNSB Hope, the starbase protecting the independent planet of Hallee, she warned the Governess of Hallee, S'hai of the imminent attack. This enabled Hallean and Klingon forces to tow the Starbase into Klingon space and lacking a target - the Dominion Forces halted the attack.
Phedra fled to Hallee, where she began to explore new sides of her personality that she had discovered after separating herself from the Founders. While her actions saved Hallee for a short while, tensions between the independent world and the Dominion continued to grow. Then came the news of Keldar's death at the hands of the Tel Cynar. Devastated by the news of his death, Phedra decided to turn herself over to the Tel Cynar in exchange for a cease-fire agreement between Hallee and the Dominion. Phedra was turned over to Tel Cynar authorities on Hallee, and was almost immediately executed onboard the DCC Infinite Continuity.
