Luke Zitto is well known for being the President of the United Federation of Planets along with being the former Attorney General as well as Judge Advocate General for Starfleet. Always quick to investigate any claim brought infront of him, he is also known for being quick to butt heads with anyone of any rank provided that his investigation is leading him towards that specific person. He assumed the office of President on Stardate 81015.210381. He has since resigned his position as President and named Andorian Councilor Oslau Shaleen as the new President until the next election.

Description
Blond hair with the a very limited amount of black patches of hair adorn the head of this individual. The hair is spiked upwards but only up two inches or so and with a slight backwards tilt, save for the portion at the top of his forehead. A pair of crystal blue eyes peering out and around the room. A clear complexion makes up a narrow forehead decending down to blond set of slightly thinner then average eyebrows that arch slightly near the end but follow the eyesocket for the remainder. A clear complexion across his face to his button nose. Thin, skin-colored, lips remain pursed on his face. Behind them, are a pair of well cared, white, teeth. A slight cleft in his chin completes the face of this individual. Around the neck is a simple, silver, chain that holds a small medallion with the picture of a lion adorned on it. The medallion is ussually hidden beneath the shirt of this man.
He is wearing a black long-sleeved zipper jacket that covers the majority of a Crimson Red turtleneck shirt. A compin rests just below the bottom of the jacket's light gray yoke that comes to a point at the top of the sleeves. Gold braid runs along the edge of his collar and down the center of the jacket. Near the cuffs of the sleeves is a thick band of Crimson Red cloth bordered with gold braid. The bottom of the jacket extends down past his hips, and the waist is secured with a black patent leather belt with a buckle bearing the Federation Insignia. Attached to both sides of the turtleneck collar and the cloth on his cuffs are [**]. The trim black pants cover the majority of a well-polished pair of black boots.
History - Prior to Feb 13 2400 IC Time
Not too much is known about Luke Zitto's personal history. He generally doesn't talk about his family or personal history prior to his joining the Department of Justice.
His work history is the most that can be found on this elusive man.
At the age of 18, Luke Zitto began working for a divison of the Department of Justice. It was the local police force in what is believed to be his hometown of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He worked as a Investigator on a team of 5 different Investigators and Detectives. The case file that he worked on was not publicily available on any databases but archived media files relate that there was a high priority trial that implicated a crime family that was based out of the City of Edmonton. Soon after the trials completion and guilty verdict, Luke Zitto left the Department of Justice and enlisted himself in the UFP Ground Forces.
Luke spent, according to UFPGF records, a total of 2 months as a regular in the Ground Forces before being recruited into elite Ranger Force named the 2nd Legion Noire. This unit specialized in close quarters combat and reconassiance. The sorties that were untertaken by this unit are not available and Luke Zitto was voluntarily discharged from the Ground Forces and returned to the Department of Justice as a Special Agent. In total, Luke Zitto spent 10 months in the Ground Forces.

Special Agent Zitto became known quickly within the Federation and Starfleet from the friction that he would cause in the lax of Starfleet's patrol of regulation infractures and attempted to regain control of the Federation Traffic Control and expand its uses to more of a Starfleet secondary duty. The idea was quickly rejected by Starfleet Command and was backed by the Federation Council at the time to keep Starfleet as the only space agency charged with regulation enforcement. Starfleet Command did, however, make it mandatory that all infractions be sent to the Special Agent along with all information including resulting action.
Three months after the appointment of Special Agent, Luke Zitto was approached by Starfleet Judge Advocate General's Office on behalf of Starfleet Command to offer a new position to the Special Agent. The position was a JAG Investigator and field commission of Lieutenant Junior Grade.
The offer was accepted.

June 2400 - Luke Zitto took an extended leave from the Department of Justice and was comissioned Lieutenant Junior Grade Luke Zitto - Starfleet JAG Investigator. During this time he was working under the command of Admiral Tyralia Montalia (sp?). After the course of four months, the Admiral left the service of Starfleet. There was no new SF JAG named. Rather, Starfleet JAG now reported to the Inspector General who was Admiral Kevin G. Montgomery. During this time, several high profile cases came across the desk of the JAG Investigator.
September 2400 - Promotion - Lieutenant
May 2401 - Promotion - Lieutenant Commander
Nov 11, 2401 - Promotion - Commander - Luke Zitto was also assigned as Executive Officer of the USS Strathcona (under the command of Captain Jacob Anderson) for a total of 12 days before Starfleet Command's restructuring plans were changed and reverted back to original Fleet structure.
December 2401 - Starfleet Command restructuring results in the Inspector General no longer as the direct superior to the JAG department. Instead it becomes, and currently remains, the Fleet Admiral only on procedural misconduct. Legal findings must be appealed via the Judge Advocate General's Office.
Sept 2403 - The largest case to hit JAG in a long time. Captain Benjamin Woods, Lieutenant Tirgon Volthir, Lieutenant Jaden Crow were all convicted of numerious charges that resulted in each of them having to serve time in New Zealand along with dishonourable discharges. It was the third time that Captain Woods had been charged by Commander Zitto and lost.

Oct 15 2401 - During the investigation of sabatoge to Starfleet vessels, a major break in the case occurs during the sabatoge of the USS Shiloh by the means of a computer virus. Able to take the command of the USS Coronado, docked at Starbase 73, found that a vessel had launched a Starfleet Periaspe Fighter designated the USSF Equinox Two. The fighter caught the Lt. Commander off guard and nearly disabled the vessel. The fighter then landed at Organia and proceeded to enter a transport. Being close to the planet, Luke landed the vessel rather hastily, further damaging the vessel and was able to get onto the transport along with the suspect. Subdueing the saboture in the transport. However, the transport left Organia and travelled to QI'tomer. Upon securing the magnacuffs to the suspect, named Colin Wells of the Mars Mining Corporation upon further investigation after the incident. Upon arriving on QI'tomer, the Commander was assualted by 5 other suspects unexpectedly and left on QI'tomer to die in rough shape. Starfleet was able to inform the Klingons about Luke's arrival and found the Officer in his severely injured state. Oddly enough, Luke interrupted a Klingon Wedding with his arrival. He was treated by Klingon Medical Officers and transported back to Federation Space. After the event, the Mars Mining Corporation was shut down and its CEO, VP Technical Services, and VP Finance were arrested for military sabatoge, property theft and espionage. <<Log will follow ... once I find it and probably clean it up>>

Zitto was appointed to the position of Attorney General by President Sam Bungar in 2401, and retained his position through both the T'Sha Administration and the Second Bungar Administration, as well as after the Council reforms under Chief Councilors Henry Rae, Castor Pirious, and Jonathan Salizar.
The most notable events thus far with the Attorney General position was the investigation of then Secretary of State Jonathan Starsmore's residence being the target of a terrorist attack in accordance with his acceptance of the Tyrixx race as not a target to persecution for past events caused by a different Tyrixx brood.
There was also the capture of the pirate Frool Nibor who is currently at the New Zealand Detention Facility serving a sentance of 30 years for acts of piracy against the United Federation of Planets, assault of three starfleet officers while in custody, and three attempted escapes from custody.

During a falling out between the Qang of the Klingon Empire, targh, and President Salizar that led to a increase of tensions borderlining war. Zitto, being considered a warrior by the Qang, was granted an audiance with the Qang and was able to bring the Qang to a peaceful status and later returned to the table with the Qang. At this meeting, Zitto was able to attain a border agreement and a treaty of non-agression.

Winning in a landslide victory (76.9 to 23.1 percent popular vote), Luke Zitto and his running mate Michael Blondel defeated the incumbant President (Jonathan Salizar) and his running mate Lt. Commander Karina McGuiness.

Other Notable Events
Oct 30, 2401 - An attempt to kidnap and interrogation of Luke Zitto. Suspected to be orchastrated by Ishadhael ir-Ihhliae t'Khellian. Ishadhael was supposedly kidnapped alongside Luke while they were on New Risa on a supposed date. Prior to heading to New Risa, Luke was already growing suspicious of this Romulan woman who had taken an affinity to him. Given their general xenophoic state and a prior attempt on Siegfried von Weber's life (although it was no secret that Mr. von Weber hated Romulans and constantly violated their regulations but was not actually proven to be him). Luke had already made plans with Commander Jacob Anderson for backup should his suspicions prove valid. The USSF Indepednance One (Periaspe), USS Normandy (Defiant) were holding 20 PCs out of New Risa at Warp 1 waiting for the attempt to occur. After it did, they quickly engaged the RMS Lsendt Ilnetha II (Freighter V) and disabled it, both Ishadhael and the pilot "Delon" i-i'Ramnau tr'Evahni, who was claiming to be a member of the elite Tal'Shiar, were taken aboard the USS Normandy and transferred to Starbase 002 <Andromeda> which was acting as a Starfleet High Security Detention Facility at the time.

RP Information
Luke Zitto is normally seen not in his Starfleet uniform unless he is preforming duties specifically pertaining to his Starfleet duties. He has also been seen with four other guests normally when he is investigating an incident. Three of which are dressed in Department of Justice uniforms and one is seen wearing a red trenchcoat and yellow sunglasses. The man in the red trenchcoat is seen more often with Zitto. The three in DOJ uniforms are a pair of male humans and a female deltan. They generally don't adress anyone other then Luke Zitto and often refer to him as Attorney General. The one in the trenchcoat refers to Luke by his first name, the others do as well ... just not as often.
In his off-time, he is ussually found in the holodecks in some kind of intese training program. Although no one would be able to attest what kind of programs he uses as he doesn't allow spectators. Not a stranger to pain, he can also be found at times sporting some kind of minor injury at a session that gets a bit to extreme in his words.
