The planet Krussel is located well outside Cardassian space, located near the Romulan border and Orion planets.
The planet has formerly been under military control by the Cardassian Union, and before that acted as a pirate base.
<Commentary-OOC> Yiralis says, "Krussel: Dances owned it. Jackle looked after it. CU took it over. Two mobile bases showed up on sensors. CU after some rolling and dealing gave Dance back Krussel out of the goodness of their hearts."
