Iure Prime was the original planet which the Kzinti were found to have colonized. The closes system being the siltalk sector, a planet under control of the Cardassian Union which the Kzin would attack, attempting to seize the planet and rob it of all its resources, livestock (Planetary population) included.
As the Kzin further made their hostile nature known to the rest of the quadrant a fleet comprising of the CU/RSE/UFP/KE/Nightmare Coalition/UQS/GFA assualted the Kzinti defenses and Gorn vessels successfully. Union and Nightmare Coalition ships bombard the planets surface which is later colonized by the Union.
Kzinti later returns and retakes control of Iure Prime.
