Hru'Deihu

hru'Deihu
A position in the Rihannsu Senate that roughly translates to 'Proconsul'. With the dissolution of the Praetorate, the hru'Deihu functions as the figurehead of the Empire. The hru'Deihu's responsibilities include functioning as the chair of the Deihuit, and along with the hru'Kiith, to represent the Shiar to non-Rihannsu. The hru'Deihu does not have a vote in the Senate, except to break a tie.
The hru'Deihu is elected by her peers by a majority vote.
This position has been abolished with the restructuring of the government (July 15, 2007) into the Tricameron.
