Federation/Salizar's Presidential Acceptance Speech

Citizens of the Federation,
Thank you for your vote of confidence and electing Luke Zitto and me to the position of Vice President of the United Federation of Planets and President of the United Federation of Planets, respectively. I am greatly encouraged by the outpouring of support shown to our campaign over the past few days. I would like to thank Doctor Kandice Justice and Captain Marta Morgan for their participation in this campaign. Both were worthy political opponents who worked to keep this campaign clean and about the issues.
With the election concluded we can now continue the work of the Federation. My first act as President will be to meet with the Qang of the Klingon Empire to discuss and mutually approve a treaty of non-aggression. From there we will begin a dialogue on the border dispute zone. These trilateral talks will take place with the assistance of the Unified Qvarne Sector as mediators. The reorganization of a government is an ongoing priority of Luke Zitto and I. The re-organization began prior to the election however the final pieces must be put into place. It is my pleasure to announce the following individuals as members of the Presidential Cabinet. The positions of Secretary of Starfleet and Attorney General will be announced at a later point.
