Eeiauoan

Eeiauoans are an offshoot of the Sivaoan race. They left Sivao in exile around the 2nd Terran Century. The exile is noted in the name of the race and planet of origin, meaning outcast in their language.
They are biologically similar to Sivaoans but have a much different culture. It was their love of the urban environment that directly led them to conflict on Sivao and to their exile. Eeiauoans are predominantly a metropolitan race in contrast to the more natural lifestyles of the Sivaoans. However, in the years since the events depicted in the Star Trek novel Uhura's Song the two cultures have re-established contact.
Note: Eeiauoans having developed a written language normally lack the memory skills of their cousins. They also typically consider the use of their tails in public as ill mannered. The other racial characteristics do apply.
