Central Command - Cardassian Union

The Central Command is the sole governing body of the Cardassian Union. Responsible for deciding policy in both the military and civilian arenas, it serves as the voice of the Cardassian people and the absolute authority in all matters. Often the policies enacted by the Central Command place the good of the Union above individual freedoms, thus securing a place of dominance for the species amongst the galactic powers. Members of the Central Command generally hold the rank of Legate, and it is not uncommon to see individual members assume command over Madrasad forces.
