Bureau of Construction (BuCon) - Cardassian Union

The Bureau of Construction, or BuCon, oversees construction projects throughout the Union. It maintains an extensive network of shipyard facilities that produce starships for both the Madrasad and civilians. In addition to this, BuCon is responsible for the construction of fixed facilities such as bases, orbital docking facilities and planetside structures. It also maintains several surplus depots, where decommissioned and heavily damaged vessels are taken to be stripped down and placed into storage.
