Basic Information

Species: Zhrakhadi
Age: 407
Gender: Male
Homeworld: Zhrakhad

Description

Boerehk is tall and lean individual, standing at roughly 6 feet 2 inches tall. His build seems somewhat lighter than that of a Terran. He has high cheekbones that are accentuated by his thin face. His ears taper to a point, but are slightly shorter than those found on a Romulan or Vulcan. His skin is a pale, white tone all over. His eyes are a deep green in color, mainting the color throughout the unusual iris. The color contrasts quite vividly with his stark jet black hair that is worn quite long, but straight, going down to the small of his back. He looks youthful.

He is wearing matt black armor that covers his entire body. Silver trim accents the dull midnight that flows perfectly around him. The curves of the armor are muted, as if expressing an organic material, but there is no clear evidence of such. The armor has a slight bump at the back, but no function is apparant. On his feet he is wearing large black leather boots. The boots have extremely thick soles and are fastened with lamp-blackened metal clips on the outside of each foot. Because of the overall design, the boots in many cultures would be considered "combat" style.

Across his chest he wears a silver sash that displays some ribbons.

Background

Notable events

During his rise to fame as the Executive Officer of the largest ship in the fleet, the ZWS Emperor's Wrath <Kadar class>, Boerehk gained many friends and enemies in the Outlands, and because of his aggressive nature he remained at the rank of Auvari for over a year, even though he was still considered one of the most notable people in the Ministry of Defense.

In a short period of time, Boerehk's commanding officer, former acting Minister of External Affairs and later Duva of the ZWS Emperor's Wrath, Aret'lok Sin'ada, fell out of grace with the High Order and was soon after declared missing in action. Naturally, Boerehk was promoted to fill the free gap with a rank of Xijator. As a Xijator, he experienced more hardship - including the Pasdi'kor war. With no acting commander of the Ministry, Boerehk took it upon himself to lead the loyal armies of the Emperor in battle against the treacherous filth that had overwhelmed the defenses of the Second Order. Many battles were successful. During the latter period of the short civil war, the Xijator was promoted to the rank of Quesitar - partly for his actions against the Pasdi'kor and partly for his continuously loyal service to the Emperor.

Several months after the war, the first awards ceremony was held in the Crystal City of Setar for centuries, and aswell as being rewarded with many ribbons for his deeds in service of the Emperor, Boerehk was announced as the first Minister of Defense for many centuries.

He continued in his role as Minister of Defense for over a year before meeting a woman of presumably similar age, Alys Laerin. At first, the two loathed each other as Laerin's former lover had been killed whilst under Boerehk's command, but they soon overcame their difficulties - mainly thanks to a fever caught by Boerehk, and by a tragic accident involving the loss of the mother Roha, Jaliha Kiru, and the near-death of both Laerin and her thrall, Aruv.

During their relationship, Zrian Arakis Vor of the Second Order discovered a "cure" for the sterility of the Zhrakhadi people - being treated in a Tyrixx cocoon. Naturally, security measures were set up on the homeworld Zhrakhad and further investigations were carried out. Boerehk was the second Zhrakhadi to enter a cocoon, and his now wife was the third.

In brief period that followed the treatment, the Romulan-Zhrakhadi mutual defense treaty was arranged and written by Boerehk and the Romulan diplomat Saith'e. It arranged for a joint base to be placed at Jaikna'kaa, in the neutral zone between QI'tomer, Nimbus III and Munspelheim.

Within a month of the treatment, Laerin became pregnant and during the latter stages of pregnancy stepped down from her position in the Ministry of External Affairs. Along with her went her thrall, Boerehk and Boerehk's infamous second-in-command Ashraani named Sunshine. Laerin gave birth to a healthy daughter on stardate 78118.8, one of the first children born for almost 400 years within the Zhrakhad Orders. A month later on from then, Boerehk returned from Zhrakhad to Setar.

It was on Setar that the Archduke, Hans Zarhaan, appointed Boerehk as being the "unofficial" Federation goodwill ambassador, to ensure the relations between the two factions remained at the high (but rare) standard.

The Dominion War broke out within months of this appointment, and Boerehk was drafted back into the reformed Ministry of Defense as part of an Imperial Order command. It wasn't until partway through the battles, several weeks after Jaikna'kaa and Gamma'kaa had fallen to a surprise Dominion attack, that Boerehk was reinstated as the Minister of Defense.

During the War, a Tridic representative appeared in the command center of the starbase Yyatavuk, where the Zhrakhadi side of the war efforts were being coordinated. The Tridic demanded that the stargates be deactivated and destroyed, due to the destructive effects of the ilydri crystal on the space around it. In response to this, Boerehk was despatched by the High Order to the Tyrixx hive in the Kildare system to ask that the Tyrixx hide the stargates.

The Tyrixx then took the stargates, and as a parting "gift", the Queen Tyrixx warned Boerehk that the Archduke was no longer in command. Troubled by this news, Boerehk investigated further, and in a fit of paranoia fled the Orders and sought asylum within the Federation. Several Zhrakhadi followed on the news that the Emperor had awoken, but many who tried to escape were killed before the stargate systems could be activated.
