End of an Era

Sure that half the galaxy wants her dead, for one reason or another, Aidoann continues to stay low and out of sight. She does, however, meet with Ian. Exactly what was said between the two is known only to them, but the end result is that they decide to split. The discussion quickly ends after Aidoann receives a vision from the Prophets.

Devastated from the loss of Ian and now convinced that the Prophets themselves want her dead, Aidoann once more disappears to all but a few. On stardate 82527, however, she shows up at a party hosted by Ashleigh and Lucius Harrington on Earth. Ian happens to show up and gets two glasses of wine and a glass of champagne dumped on him by the Romulan before she storms off. Itasha Pand is also on the receiving end of a half glass of wine, shortly thereafter. Aidoann finally goes back to where she's been staying after she strips to her underwear, goes swimming in a nearby lake and ends up having her clothes stolen as a result. The swimming is regretted when she wakes up the next morning.

A New Name

To keep from getting called Aidoann all the time, Aidoann gives herself a new last name: t'Lheollah. Although it is similar-sounding to her birth house of s'Lhoell, it is not the same. (I'm not sure if Lhoell is an OOCly accidental misspelling and noun-form of Lheollah or if they are two different words. If they are supposed to be the same, Aidoann has taken the verbal form to distinguish herself from that house.)

Much Needed Time Off

Ian is attacked after attending a party on Cardassia and is in a coma for several days. Aidoann returns to stay by his side for most of the time he is unconscious. As he recovers, she disappears from galactic view. She makes no public appearances for months, only to finally reappear a couple of times on Deep Space Nine and then finally at an auction run by Darvok Gilar, more or less in the company of Ian once more.

Return to Chaos

Aidoann continues to mostly stay out of public view. At least, until Ian goes off to form the Fighting Hara Cats. Aidoann most definitely doesn't approve of this new venture, which leads to more disagreements between the couple.

When the SS Blackhawk and SS Vindicator are delivered to Bajor without explanation, Aidoann shuts down Bajoran space due to a perceived threat. Bajoran space is quickly reopened, however, and the matter is more or less quietly cleared up over the next few days.

A chain of events starts a few days later with the capture of the SS Khamae by Hirogen forces, who killed Saeihr i-Eihriss t'Evahni aboard same. Confusion over where to take the vessel afterwards leads Aidoann to offer DS9 as neutral grounds. After the Khamae is delivered to the station, the Shiar does not wait for an official return of the vessel and, instead, simply takes it. All Shiar personnel are summarily banned from Bajoran space for one month.

Out of Sight, Out of Mind

The day after the Shiar is banned from the BFN, Itasha Pand returns to the station. Things are tense between him and Aidoann, culminating in her abrupt decision to leave the BDF the day after Itasha's return. After a drunken evening in Quark's, and words with Ian the next morning, she disappears off to parts unknown. Anyone who might ordinarily know where she is, doesn't.

Plans Interrupted

Few know what Aidoann does over the next few weeks, but it doesn't seem to go well. She later spends a large portion of her time alone, drinking, on Earth.

A Sudden Change

On stardate 82954.1, Aidoann is recalled to duty and given the rank of Set'shokut as well as command of DS9. To say that she is surprised by these events is putting it mildly.

Noble Beginnings

After recruiting several former members of Starfleet to serve aboard DS9, Aidoann does her best to make the station a welcoming place to visit. Ian Sturmvogel is convinced leave the Hara Cats to return from the Delta Quadrant and become her Chief Science Officer.

She also gets into several verbal tiffs with Nagus S'al and the First Minister over various aspects of how DS9, and Bajor, should be run. Much of this has to do with Aidoann wanting a stricter policy of neutrality than even the First Minister has handed down.

Hasty Alliances

Although she did her best to stay out of matters between the GFA and Orz, Aidoann finds herself and Bajor drawn into the thick of things when the deposed Grand Nagus attacks and attempts to capture a Bajoran merchant. An offer of trade is made and accepted: a capital ship for the release of the merchant and vessel.

Plans are drawn up and forces converge on DS9 in an attempt to, once and for all, remove the threat of Orz. These plans go awry when forced to a hasty conclusion. Personnel loyal to Orz assist in bombing the station and robbing Quark's. A Starfleet fighter is also stolen from one of the pads. These things devastate Aidoann, who starts looking at everything through a paranoia-tinted lens.

Whom the Gods Destroy...

In the days after the attack, Aidoann attempts to clamp down on everything that happens on the station, leading to her not getting more than two or three hours of sleep a night. Although she had been working herself hard before, she works even harder now in attempts to track down who did what and to prevent it from happening again.

Things go completely awry when she learns that one of the Starfleet officers that she had trusted may have had something to do with things. Bishop Essa is questioned and released by a combination of her security officers and Starfleet. Aidoann is displeased with how the questioning went, especially when she learns from Enriov tr'Lhoell that Bishop was possibly lying during the questioning. This information leads to the current Chief of Security, and Klingon exchange officer, attacking the Enriov and beating him to death - since she was part of the questioning. The Security Officer, cha'paH, is promptly placed in the brig.

...They First Make Mad

A perhaps (un)fortunate event with a Prophet, or Emissary, prompts Aidoann to exchange the First Minister's life for that of the Enriov, leading to the First Minister's death and the Enriov's resurrection. Utterly distraught by what she had to do, Aidoann pulls herself together as best she can to go down to security when she learns that Bishop and another Starfleet officer have been arrested.

While in Security to talk to the Starfleet officers, cha'paH starts making threats from within her cell and the wo' from without. Not wanting to deal with her or the wo' attacking the station, she prepares to hand over the Klingon to the Romulans on DS9. The Prophet/Emissary returns and informs Aidoann that she can't do that. Reluctantly, she agrees to set cha'paH free, only to then watch as Secretary Harrington receives a lifetime ban from Bajor for 'conspiring' with her.

Too much for one day, Aidoann promptly locks herself in her apartment. Over the next few days, Aidoann makes few appearances - only meeting with people when strictly necessary. Unity is called in, by her, to resolve whether or not Bishop had anything to do with stealing the Starfleet fighter. Bishop is released. And promptly banned from setting foot on DS9 for at least 2 months.

The Romulans, displeased that cha'paH was released and not happy that she killed one of their people in the first place, ask for and are granted permission by Aidoann to carry weapons aboard. The Klingons, on the other hand, are angry that the Romulans get to arm themselves. The last straw, for Aidoann, comes when she catches Hovmempo'wI' breaking into the base's security systems. That he also found an undiscovered bomb in the process doesn't make her any happier. After cha'paH then lectures her on having not done the job of Chief of Security as well as run the station, Aidoann promptly bans all Klingons from Bajoran space.

A little less insanity

Although she's interrupted several times by official matters, Aidoann then spends the next several days on Jeraddo. Whatever she does there, she eventually returns to duty much calmer and less eager to bite the heads off of her own crew.

Proving that her work is never done, Aidoann has to try to placate the Qang when cha'paH is kidnapped off of DS9. She also ends up having to try to mediate matters between the Federation and the GFA when a Klingon freighter takes refuge on a UFP planet to hide from the GFA. Neither of these issues please her, but at least she manages to keep her temper while also trying to keep things from exploding.
