After graduating from the Phi'lasasam (Academy), Aidoann gradually rose through the ranks in the Galae. Eventually, she became CO of the Oiswuh Science division and the chR Havrae.
Meanwhile, in her private life, she married hru'Hfirh Tal tr'Evahni who died a few days later after falling from a cliff. Roughly one month after that, she married Delon tr'Evahni.
Although Aidoann received four decorations in the Galae (Caernu Mandukar twice and Isaehj Ahtma twice), she was dissatisfied with how her career was going and decided to join the Kiith. Only a few days after that, she was heard denouncing the Tal'Shiar over subspace and was forcibly retired.
Aidoann spent much of her time hanging around on Deep Space 9 and talking with those whom she met there. On stardate 79708.944854 (Sat Apr 8 14:16:35 2006), she acquired the Mirinna Jornaat Research Foundation for the sum of 30 million bars of latinum. In order to pay for the foundation, she first rented the SS Tempest from Matthew Phoenix and then the BMF Baltrim from the Bajorans. After approximately 3 weeks of heavy trading (around 1 week was spent looking for a ship to use) and selling shares in the foundation to various people, she had acquired a total of approximately 40-45 million bars of latinum. 30 million was paid to Chairman Vathras of the FTGTC, who had sold her MJRF, and around 10 million went to pay off other debt.
In the midst of paying off debt (on stardate 79767.5, Sat Apr 29 23:57:34 2006), her house leadership was called into question by S'Tokkr tr'Evahni who called for her removal, Aidoann responded by outcasting him after repeated attempts at telling him to cease. The questioning by S'Tokkr triggered an investigation by the Tal'Shiar who called into question her spending of so much money on a 'yikh organization', her paying taxes to the FTGTC and a recent visit by her to Gamma Eridon with hints of treason. As a result of all this, the Tal'Shiar decreed that Delon would be the new hru'Hfirh and that S'Tokkr was no longer outcast.
This angered Aidoann, who felt that she had done nothing wrong, and she felt doubly betrayed by the Tal'Shiar for un-outcasting S'Tokkr, who had threatened her life. She continued to trade, however, finally paying off her debs on stardate 79794.2 (Tue May 9 17:42:06 2006).
In an attempt to set things straight, on stardate 79819.7 (Fri May 19 01:18:02 2006), she invited S'Tokkr to DS9 for a meeting. Upon his arrival, she invited him to her room on the base to talk. S'Tokkr did not survive the talk. Aidoann claimed self defense, but the Tal'Shiar wished to investigate anyway and she was put in DS9's brig. While in the brig, Delon claimed that he had found a diary among her things, supposedly written by Aidoann, where she admitted to killing her first husband. He then went before the senate to call for her death.
The senate did not agree to this and instead voted (4 to 1) to banish Aidoann for life, removing her name and title. The one dissenting vote was that of Ishadhael t'Radaik who suggested Aidoann should be assigned as a hfai (servant/slave) to a house as punishment. Meanwhile, Aidoann was let out of the brig on DS9 and was allowed to roam freely on the station; as free as one can be while wearing a tracking device and being followed by two guards.
Eventually, Aidoann was 'freed' (although still restricted to the station) to be allowed to work on Deep Space 9 as a sort of penance. While she felt this would be similar to being forced to become a servant as t'Radaik had wanted, she had little choice and readily accepted. It was, at the very least, better than being imprisoned or worse. She was given the rank of Peldut (Cadet) in the Bajoran Defense Force, science division.
One of the first things Aidoann did upon being 'freed' was to obtain an orange striped kitten whom she named 'Ariennye'. Ariennye has a nasty temper at times, but Aidoann has (slowly) been attempting to train her. Obtaining Ariennye led to some snickering, especially behind Aidoann's back, but the Romulan seemed not to care.
Although Aidoann tried to work hard to prove that she wasn't really that bad, there were some from Qvarne who were calling for the Bajorans to kill her as her punishment instead. Things finally quieted down, but Aidoann changed her name to Evaani Aidwan as a result; that being a more Bajoran spelling.
