An experimental Vorta
Aela was created from an experimental line of Vorta Clones, specifically tailored to interact with the various governments of the Alpha and Beta quadrants.
She quickly came up through the ranks of the Tel Canaar, and along the way was appointed the Administrator of Veronica Prime.
Once she was appointed to the Tel Cynar, she was named the head Ambassador, and negotiated with other empires on behalf of the Founders.
During the Alternate Universe event, she commanded the DCC Infinite Continuity into the alternate universe to see if she could locate the Founders. She was unsuccessful.
She was nearly appointed Keldjian, the official Dominion head of state. After failing to win the favor of the Founders, Aela's line was eventually discontinued and the experiment deemed to be a failure.
