City Square - Okira'ak City [New Hallee]
The lighting in this broad area is much brighter than the usual cramped corridors. The bright colors and cheerful, eye-catching designs of small advertisements and the hustle-bustle of passers-by mark this clearly as a civilian commercial district.

There is no weather in Okira'ak City. For that matter, this isn't even Okira'ak City just yet, but more of a big mess of chaos. The reason there's no weather is because there is no sky, only a tremendous light striking down on a large section of a landmass. The light is from Hope, the enormous Spacedock in orbit of the planet. Apparently it is providing the Atmosphere that evidently exists, if only in a bubble over this area. People, mostly Cardassians but some other species too, are travelling about on foot and on small industrial vehicles carting crates and machines thisway and that. Evidently, the buildings have recently been built and now things are being moved into them.
Outside the building with a big sign marked 'Restaurant - Coming Soon' there are a whole whack of crates. Clustered around them, reviewing 'paperwork' on a padd, are a bunch of Cardassians. Most are dressed like Cardassians might be were they at home; dark colors, simple garb. Short-cropped hair. And then there's one in a wine-colored robe, her hair beated and very long, who stands out from the rest. She smirks something at one of the taller Cardassian men, runs her finger over an authorization point on the padd and shoves it goodnaturedly at his chest. The door to the Restaurant opens and he wheels one of the crates inside. S'hai then turns away from the restaurant and scratches her chin, still grinning, and as if trying to decide what to do next.
Vixy emerges from the transport area, posture tense as she scopes out the surroundings... Strangely, something about the setting seems to relax her slightly. Oh, she still shoots the occasional wary glance up at the tenuous-seeming bubble of atmosphere, but after a moment she stops jumping at every passing movement. Spotting S'hai, she heads toward the anomalously-dressed Cardassian woman, waving cheerfully as she approaches.
One of the things that most people would say about S'hai is that she does, indeed, stand out in a crowd. Whether it be a horde of Cardassians as it is here or anywhere else, for that matter, usually either her physical appearance or outright demeanor will be likea great arrow from the sky, showing her direction. Some of the workers give vixy a passing glance, one man leaning to another and indicating the woman's feet. The other nods, replies with something but doesn't interfere. They just watch the goings-on-to-be between the two women.
S'hai easily notices someone coming at her, who both isn't Cardassian and isn't someone she knows. She lifts a hand wand wavies back, a silly gesture one might expect from a small child. "Hellooooo, strange person," she offers by way of greeting, "That's a very nice shade of green. Not too dark, not too light." Clearly with her hand gestures she's referring to the greenish tint to Vixy's face.
Vixy blinks, nonplussed. "I, ah, um... thank you? It's not like it's something I can really take credit for, being just luck of the genetic lottery and all." She comes to a stop in front of S'hai and says, "Anyhow, I'm Vixy and I was talking to someone from here over subspace just now - I was on the Morningthaw. I was wondering if you might know who I should be looking for or where I could leave a message or something?" As an afterthought, she adds, "And, um... you've got a lovely ridge structure yourself. Really brings out the depths of your eyes," by way of returning the compliment.
The Cardassian woman literally puffs up her chest proudly, which works at first but after a moment of looking proud she starts to cough, apparently needing to breathe again. She still grins, though, even if she isn't as puffy. "Thank you--and you're talking to her right now. I'm Guardian S'hai, presently the leader of the Colony. I've been expecting you, though it occured to me after we Goodbyed that I had no clue who it was I was expecting." she smirks a little and hmms, "Shall we go someplace and I'll tell you about my quest. I'm not sure where...The restaurant, even though it's not finished, probably has someplace to sit at least."
Vixy's eyes widen at S'hai's rank, and she nods hastily. "Certainly, Guardian S'hai. The restaurant would be fine with me." She glances over at the "Coming Soon" sign, but waits for S'hai to lead the way.

]W[ West
Vixy arrives from the ]W[ West door. Vixy has arrived.
Leading the way past the door to the restaurant, S'hai brings Vixy into a room where the previously mentioned Cardassians, and some extra ones, are working away at turning a big room into a big room in which persons can get kashnookered. The bar itself is built, it is an Island in the center of the room. It must have been a top priority to be finished before the walls, floor or even the booths and tables were taken care of. All in all, it looks rather like an unfinished Cheers.
S'hai heads over to the bar itself, hoisting herself up onto the bar's surface to sit, since there are no stools, either. "Well, as I said, my name is S'hai...And the next important question before I explain what it is I'm hiring people for is...How much do you know about me and Hallee?"
"Absolutely nothing!" Vixy say promptly, scrambling up onto the bar herself to sit cross-legged on top, facing towards S'hai. "Well, that's not strictly true. I know what I've learned today. For example, I know that you're Guardian S'hai, you're the leader of this Colony, you apparently have a starbase named 'Hope', and you're a Cardassian female slightly taller than me. And I know that the restaurant isn't open yet. But other than that, absolutely nothing!" she grins.
"Hah!" S'hai likes her, it would seem, as she laughs sincerely at the admittance. She giggles for a moment before nodding, "All right, that makes things a little easier. Okay, here's the short version: I'm S'hai. I was the Governor of Hallee for a few years before it up and 'Went Away'," she does the Dr. Evil finger-applied quote marks around the words, "But back then Hallee was the point of light in this universe. That is, we were declared 'Good'," and there's those quotes again, "And I founded something called the Genesis Echo Project. The purpose of this project was to gather information on, and study, all the strange things in the universe, but it was also a mission of mercy. The idea was that whenever tragedy struck, the project would try to render humanitarian aid. This was during a time when the Dominion and Borg were smashing up colonies and doing all sorts of naughty things that are considered," she Dr. Evils again, "'Bad', also known as 'Not in the Light'. With me so far?"
Vixy's brow furrows. "Um, I'd kind of like a frame of reference here. 'Good' and 'Bad' and 'Light' and 'Not in the Light'... you know, those are some heavily weighted terms, and I'd like to know who's deciding what's what. I mean, if I ask lhhei t'Radaik who's good and bad, I'm probably going to get different answers than if I ask Guln Tolmak or Inspector Anderson, if you know what I'm getting at? I mean, not that I'm convinced that moral relativity is right /either/, but if there is an objective morality, I haven't yet figured out which version is the right one." She shrugs, spreading her hands helplessly. "What's a girl to do?"
S'hai ahs, understandingly. She nods, and does a lot of hand-talking that has absolutely nothing to do with the words she's saying--but apparently amuses the workers, who after evesdropping for a few minutes get back to work, though quietly so as not to interrupt the two girls. "The Holy Warhost, in this case. They're the guardians appointed by god over all the universes and all the strata. They're very sweet. Their men have chests like -this- big, solid muscle, hot to the touch, and their asses are--" she pauses, licks her lips (her mind having started to wander somewhere yummier) and continues after a moment, "The Holy Warhost are the guardians appointed by god to oversee the universes and strata. But, anyway, For reasons of universal wellbeing, Hallee went away. I went away with it, but I came back. Hallee is still gone, so now we're building a New Hallee, and since this is the short version--The goal is to once again gather all the knowledge in the universe and compact it right here-on New Hallee-in the form of a great library of information that will be available to all people of this universe. That means I need knowledge-seekers to go gather every bit of information that exists, write it down, and bring it here. That's where you come in. I'm willing to pay you to help me re-create what has been kind-of-lost. If you need me to ramble on about the importance of having the library, I can. But I think that understanding that history needs to be recorded, records need to be kept and evil needs to be fought seem to summarize the ramblification."
Vixy huddles into herself a little as S'hai rhapsodizes about the Holy Warhotties, but shortly enough is licking her own lips at the mention of a great library. "Neat idea! I mean, that collecting knowledge thing. In general." She frowns briefly. "But where do you draw the line? I mean, there science and there's history, and then there's state secrets, and then there's private affairs. Not that I've actually had any real affairs, or at least not of my choosing, but you know what I mean? How do you balance knowledge with privacy?"
"Admittedly there's a line that can't be crossed," S'hai agrees, "It -can-, but it shouldn't be. That's part of what being in the Light includes; respect for every little thing. She takes out a little golden-covered book and flips through it, reciting something inside, but this time without the Dr. Evil quotes, "'Lives are tiny, fragile motes of beauty easily lost in the oceans of heat and churning that are most of this universe. It helps to see that life is too important to snuff out... for any reason. That life should be protected because it is so small and rare in the universe.'" she closes the book, "Sure, that talks about killing, but it still applies. Life, and the people living it, are too important. So that means, we have to use our own best sense when we're gathering this information. We have to make judgement calls on where we stop, and what would be invading. We have to encourage people to share what they feel comfortable sharing and learn to be satisfied with that. So, yeah...No state secrets. We aren't spies, just gatherers of information. If we wanted information on Rihannsu ships, we could capture one and tear the thing apart...Or, we could ask the Rihannsu to share what they're willing to share. See? One's respectful, one's not. I think the most important goals should be to record history by prodding people to remember important events so we can write them down...and to gather information on all the races, and the various Empires, and most importantly -enemies- of our entire universe...Like the GTI, Borg, Tridic, etcetera."
Vixy says quietly, "Half-measures, Guardian S'hai. If life is too important to snuff out for any reason, then isn't Borg life also too important? It's easy to divide the universe into 'us' and 'them' and say that killing 'them' doesn't really count, but why should your dividing line be any more right than the Rihannsu dividing line?" She shakes herself then, and smiles. Not that I'm conceding your initial point, either. Life is finite, and we all die sometime. I'd rather choose my death and make it count for something than just cling to it no matter the cost - and I try to accord my friends the same respect. Life is too important to protect at all costs; it's so important that you need to be acutely aware of its value - and be willing to spend it, joyously, when the price is right."
S'hai doesn't seem the least put off, or even confused or disagreeing with Vixy's statement. "What you just said, about how if what I read is true then -all- life, even Borg, being too important, about giving it up for the right price...That's the Light, Vixy. Understanding that is what made us, here at Hallee, stand in the Light to begin with." she shrugs a little, "People die. I recently lost my only friend in the world, and I was ready to give up everything I ever cared about to try to save her. In the end, I was too late. I loved her more than words can ever really say and I'll miss her more than even god herself can understand...But she died protecting this universe. I take comfort in knowing that I'm still here because she -made- it so." she smiles, "The Light, among other things, is understanding the beauty, the rarity, the importance of life. Giving it its due value. It's possible to even love your enemies; I still have a place in my heart devoted to the Demoness herself, even though she tried to destroy the universe. I loved her, and would have--nearly did--give up everything to save her. I like you, Vixy. You think a lot...You'd have fit in real good back on old Hallee."
Vixy looks away for a long moment, then consciously wrenches her gaze back to S'hai. "Sorry," she mutters. "It's hard to overcome a lifetime of habits in a few months. Um... thank you for the compliment, Guardian S'hai - but it's only fair to warn you that I'm still looking for the answers, so you shouldn't take what I say as heartfelt-beliefs. I'm just good at spotting logical inconsistencies, and I like trying to figure things out. Ask me again tomorrow, and I may well prefer the coward's way out." She grimaces, hugging her own elbows for a moment. "And... please don't tease me like that, Guardian. I'm growing resigned to fitting in as at best a resident alien back home. Thinking about more just gets me frustrated to no purpose."
S'hai raises a ridged brow, "Teasing you? I'm not teasing you, Vixy." she chuckles a little, "I'm not sure what might be happening wherever you're from, but I meant that. I do like you. Thinking a lot is a good thing, and debate is great. If people agreed on everything all the time, it'd be pretty boring. I happen to believe very heavily in the Light, and I know that the words of the Light aren't perfect...Nothing is. Even god said that she didn't understand some of it herself. I think I remember her describing to me that the Light is something you -feel-, not hear or say." she indicates some of the working Cardassians, "See those men over there? They're outcasts, like me. Where they used to live, they were slave labor. Non-people. Entirely by accident, they ended up with me and now they're happy. They don't believe in the Light, or accept what god has told me, but we still love one another. That one there, Morad; he's got a great sense of humor and he's very knowledgeable about a lot of things. Part of being in the Light is understanding your own personal value-your skills, your knowledge, everything you have to offer...And seeing it in the people around you, too. If you ever feel like you're lost or you don't belong somewhere, you can always come to Hallee. -Everyone- belongs on Hallee."
Vixy stares at the workers intently, then lowers her voice to a whisper. "But, Guardian S'hai -- how could these people be oucasts? They're Cardassian." She says it simply, as if that lone sentence could explain everything.
S'hai points to her spoon, "So am I. Have you ever known Cardassians to be living anywhere -but- Cardassian space or occupied territory? Maybe if you tell me how you believe they can't be outcasts, I can better explain why and how they are."
"You mean... this isn't a Union colony?" Vixy stares at S'hai, wide-eyed. "I thought that I'd just stumbled across a gap in my admittedly incomplete knowledge of Union planets. I, um... I thought that Cardassians always had a place in the Union, of greater or lesser station according to their connections and competence."
S'hai ahs, "I see! Well, allow me to clarify for you...No, this isn't a Cardassian Union colony." she hrms a bit and continues, "Several years ago I defected from the Cardassian Union and fled to Hallee. It was ruled by an El Aurian at the time, a man named Tolian Reven. He and I had become lovers while I was still a Cardassian diplomat assigned to DS9. When my husband, Rhune, was killed I went to Hallee, and refused to go back. When Reven was killed by Orions during a war, I was elected Governor of the planet, and thus how I came to be in command of an independent colony." she indicates the men again, "How I came by -them-...They're orphans. In Cardassian society, when a child's parents are killed, that child becomes a non-person. Regardless of their prior status, they are reduced to the lowest level, above vermin, in Cardassian society. Shortly after I came back from being away with the old planet in another universe, I began to miss my children a great deal. I appealed to the Detapa Council to allow me to adopt some Cardassian Orphans, and they agreed...and the next thing I know, they were delivering to me a freighter carrying about one hundred thousand unwanted Cardassians. Some children, some grown men and women...We lived at Kelvira, I wasn't about to turn them away. When I turned Kelvira over to the Unity, many of the Cardassians came with me. We're making our home here, where everyone is considered equal and has the same rights as everyone else."
Vixy raises a single finger. "I, um, I have a question about this whole orphan thing, too. I mean, everyone dies, of old age if nothing else. So by that logic, wouldn't the oldest living generation in any Cardassian familiy definitionally be orphans? But I don't elderly Cardassians being shunned by their descendants on account of having no living parents anymore, so what's the deal?"
S'hai smirks and nods, "It doesn't -seem- to make much sense, but I think it's more applied to children who are orphaned as their parents are killed in the line of duty. Also, any child born out of wedlock is considered an orphan as well. There -was- a time when that kind of orphan was hunted down and killed. Nowadays if it's cardassian it's allowed to live, just as the lower class...But if it's a halfbreed, then its chances for survival are slim."
Vixy purses her lips in a soundless whistle. "No wonder Mister Lekar was cautioning me against..." she says softly. "Um. Anyhow. But, um... isn't it, ah, bad form to go around taking lovers when one has a husband? Or am I confused about the timeline, here?" She glances warily at S'hai to see how she takes this personal line of questioning.
"Ayep, typically it is bad form, yes," S'hai admits. "But during the occupation, Cardassian men got really lonely and many took Bajoran mistresses. In my own case," she shrugged, "My husband was the son of the Haradar. We married purely for political reasons, and we both knew that when we entered the agreement. There was a time, Vixy, when I wanted nothing more than to be on the winning side. The Haradar was a very powerful person, and being allied with the Haradar and Detapa Council meant power and authority, with influence over the Madrasad."
Vixy recites in the tones of one quoting, "'Family is the most important thing to a Cardassian.'" She half-smiles. "Or so I've been told. Mind you, I'm not sure if that's meant in a political sense or an emotional one. I do find it aesthetically satisfying that you've worked out such an elegant solution for the Cardassian orphans, but if you're not a Union colony, then doesn't the Union feel threatened by having such a large population of Cardassians not under Union rule?"
S'hai shrugs a bit, "To be honest, since the Detapa Council leadership changed, I'm not sure how they feel. But," she smirks a little, "It wouldn't be healthy for them to object too much, and certainly would be bad if they were to try to -do- anything about it. You see, since we're an independent colony, we have both the Silver Fleet and the Lilim to protect us. It's one of our many benefits; we can actually live here in complete confidence of our safety. Not having to worry about people hurting us leaves us to be able to focus on more important things."
Vixy frowns at S'hai's smirk. "It seems a bit mean-spirited to gloat about making others uncomfortable without fear of reprisal. I mean... how do I put this? In a hypothetical perfect society, where everyone naturally wished to work towards the common good, there'd be no need for accountability. But we're all mortal, and so it's the little things like wanting to not start fights that keep people polite and considerate - and even that isn't incentive enough, in many cases. It strikes me that /complete/ protection is probably a bad thing in the long run; it encourages an unbecoming complacent smugness."
Now THAT commentary gets another laugh from S'hai...It's not a mean laugh, though, but amusement. "Everyone's got the right to live, and to do so safely. If by way of our very presence, our very existance is enough to incite the Cardassians then is it we who are at fault? Traditionally when a power gets very big they like to make themselves feel bigger by picking on the smaller bodies, less likely to have militaries capable of holding them off. Like the Independent colonies. The Lilim will protect us. Now, if we start going on open subspace and striking at the Cardassians and saying 'But you can do nothing about this because the Lilim are between us and you', then chances are the Lilim Commanders themselves would simply put an end to it." she shrugs a little, "Hallee hasn't picked any fights since the days of the Dominion invaision years and years ago...Back when I first came to the original Hallee."
Vixy leans back, propping her arms behind her on the bar. "Fair enough, that," she says with a smile. "I guess I'm just partial to the Union since they've been so good to me. So who is this god that you've been talking about, anyway? Is this anything like the Bajoran religion?"
S'hai shakes her head, "I wouldn't call what I know of god a religion, really. More like an honor, or an amazing privledge. Her name is Longwalker and she's very beautiful. She's literally the individual who created our universe, and she has a good sense of humor, too. Very nice, though cryptic. I haven't seen her for a few years, though." S'hai sighs happily, "And I must say, meeting the creator of all things can certainly brighten a girl's day and give purpose to your life."
Vixy stares at S'hai. "Literally." She falls silent for a long moment. "Um, okay. And she's the one who told you about all this Light stuff, right? So what cause did she give you to believe her claim to have created the universe? I mean, there are a lot of really powerful beings out there, so why is this one more belivable as a creator than the next?"
S'hai stands up on the bar and starts walking around it's parameter, dodging Vixy each time she comes by there, so she doesn't step on the poor girl. "Actually, the extent of what Longwalker herself told me was that I had a destiny and I would know what to do whenever the time came to do it...And a few other tidbits like she liked the fruit punch and appreciated my company. Word of the Light doesn't come from her at all, though...It comes from the Holy Warhost, and from myself. It came from people like Kae and Rowan, and Aardra and Tia'a and Dera'acharra and Hovmempo'wI' and Damnal and Rorsh-whatever, and Okira'ak, annnnnnd Renee and Khara and eight little ones who live up on the base. It's everywhere. I am just one of those who is -tuned- to it, I can see it when others can't. It's very complicated, Vixy," she says as she continues to walk, hands clasped behind her back, "But the Light is something you feel. Right at that one, important, destined moment you just...Know. It's not delusion or wishful thinking, it's something that just hits you out of the blue and you know it to be the Truth."
Vixy scoots over to first one side, then the other, trying to stay out of S'hai's way. "Oh, I get it, then! It's like mnhei'sahe, right? The thing that you do because your heart cries out for it, and you simply can't /not/ do it. Or, um, so I've gathered." She blushes greenly. "Lhhei t'Radaik has been trying to explain mnhei'sahe to me for a few months now, and I'm still not sure that I have the right idea. But she keeps telling me that I need to study more non-Cardassian schools of moral philosophy. Hmm, I'm not sure if this counts or not, since you're Cardassian."
S'hai hmms, "I would have to agree with her. The more you know, the more able you will become to make decisions based upon what's right for you." she pauses in her walking for a moment, but starts up again, "Say...Vixy, how would you like to have -that- be your job for me? To gather information on all the different schools of moral philosophy? To get information on what different cultures and races believe in? That would help my library as well as educate you, so we'd both win. Plus, you'd get paid for it. What do you think of that?"
Vixy laughs softly. "The Ferengi would claim it my moral duty to strive for profit, and Mister Lekar gives me to believe that by Cardassian morals I have an obligation to my legitimate government to uphold its cultural mores to the same end. Though I've also been warned that Mister Lekar has been misrepresenting Cardassian culture to me, so that one's kinda up in the air. I'd be happy to share what I learn with you, ma'am, butit's only fair to warn you that beliefs vary by individual within race, enough so that annoucing 'culture X believes Y' is inherently a flawed statement at best, and outright wrong at worst."
S'hai grins, finally stopping her walk when she comes around to where she started. "Then if that's true, we'll simply record it with a note to that effect. I know that the information we gather will not be absolute...But we'll get what we can, to the best of our abilities, and we'll go from there. We'll do cultural beliefs and moral information first, along with literal information on the Empires and races of our universe. So, will you work for me, then? And what sort of wage do you desire? I'll even give you a bonus for each additional employee you recruit for me."
Vixy shrugs, sitting up straight again. "I'm horribly immoral that way, alas. As long as I have enough for my humble needs and a nice safety cushion, latinum doesn't mean all that much to me. Pay me for now in thoughts, in information, in friends and connections and conversation. Conundrums and riddles to tease the mind, tutoring in skills that strike my fancy." She takes a deep breath and makes a wry half-smile as she says, "The one thing that I've really longed for is a place in society, so to speak - and lately, I've begun to question /which/ place I'd want, had I my pick."
S'hai hmms, "All right then. Thoughts, info, friends, connections and conversation it is. You're welcome to come to Hallee to enjoy our hospitality whenever you need to. Everyone belongs on Hallee." she sits to watch the men working again, "It'll be the most magnificent city ever, by the time we're done. Even more glorious than the one on the other Hallee."
"Is magnificence really the right goal, though?" Vixy says softly. "I'd rather a comfortable city and a safe one, than a sterile edifice of soaring towers and magnificent statues. Give me a cozy streetside cafe with comfy couches and bread baked fresh every morning. And, um... now that I think of it, may I ask a few questions on an unrelated topic?"
S'hai hmms, "I consider all of that a part of the magnificence that we'll achieve, really. But yes, you can ask your question. Fire away."
Vixy grins. "Well, first of all, I'm trying to get a D'kora crew together and I need to submit background checks on 'em. So could you please let me know if any of the following individuals have criminal records with Hallee, or if any have held military or political offices here, or... um, well, anything else of interest?" She takes a breath and starts reciting names. "Me - that'd be Vixy, no last name. Joruk Lekar. Ishadhael t'Radaik. Nemoris Tolmak. Tujin Nightraine. Takor Xran. Yohal Dakan. And, um, Vornan Jikall." She blushes at that last. "Not that he'd actually crew for me, but he wanted console access in case of emergencies, since I'm currently kinda based out of Union space."
S'hai waves a hand dismissively, "Right now, Hallee hasn't got a list of criminals, so no, none of em have criminal records here. This planet has only existed for a few months now, and we've held no relations with anyone nor had many visitors since I came back from the other universe, so no one's really had time to commit crimes against us yet."
"Right now I haven't restricted any ship classes. You can trade here," replies the Cardassian woman, "Until I change or set some rules that might indicate otherwise. I'll let you know if that happens, though, but as long as Hallee and her people are shown respect and everyone behaves themselves, we should be fine and there should be no problems."
Vixy says dryly, "I doubt there'll be a problem. I occasionally get flack from other GFA members about being excessively respectful towards foreign governments. Then they wonder why they keep getting banned from various spaces, while I get offered free repairs..." She smiles thinly. "One might almost suspect a correlation."
S'hai hmms thoughtfully. "Come to think of it? Who are the Naguses--Nagi? Naguseses? Nag...Who are the leaders in the Ferengal Alliance these days?"
Vixy bends her legs up, hugging her knees in to her chest. "Well," she says quietly, "There's Grand Nagus Nox, Nagus Mordoc Zed, Daon Tujin Nightraine, and Daon Willow Andren. Daon Nightraine's off on vacation at the moment, though, and he's the one I know best. The others I've really only met in passing."
S'hai nods to the names listed. "A couple of them sound familiar. It's been a while." she hrms and glances down at the implant on the back of her head, "Listen, I hate to run, but I should probably go up and check on my kidlets. You know, make sure they aren't driving my assistant crazy. One man versus eight small children can be amusing, but cruel. I need to go...But you're welcome to visit Hallee for as long as you like."
Vixy smiles and slides down off the bar. "Thank you, Guardian S'hai," she says softly. "I think it's fair to say that Halle is one of the most interesting concepts I've seen in a while. Good luck with the child-wrangling."
S'hai smirks. "Thanks..." she does a summersault off the bar counter and lands easily, "But there are reasons I have an assistant to look after them for me. I had eight children of my own already, and I only raised two of them, and even those ones I didn't have for very long. Shakir is great with children so I let him do it...I just look out for -him-." she grins and nods, "It's still just the beginning. Take care, Vixy."
"You too, S'hai." Vixy bows awkwardly and heads for the door, dodging crates and workers along the way.
